Almost missed a phone appoint cuz im at work so I was gonna cancel it and reschedule. Va policy is you have to reschedule 24 hours before time or the claim starts all over , not only that the other claims that are months out are also canceled because I was gonna cancel THIS one appointment...

Omg send me your coolscan!! :lol: using digital cameras for scanning seems like the best option for scanning all around from what reddit and all the forums say but ima bit stubborn on doing it the other way and making it harder on myself.

First time i used it , default settings had it at 3900, when i tried it again last night i cranked it up to 7200dpi . Ill post some comparison photos in a couple days. For 35mm thats exactly what i do now, i still let them do all my 120 and slide film stuff

@vinnuendo it scans one picture in about 4-5 minutes, i messed with it last night and it became clear to me that my negatives need to be cleaned before scanning :lol: , once it does i think ill be okay from there on

Found a plustek on marketplace for 100 bucks, I only did one scan and got better results than my nikon coolscan so ill do a bit more this weekend
