There has been talks for a couple weeks now that Clingan is a dark horse to go #1 cuz he’s the most “ready” …It would be a mistake by the Hawks imo, cuz even if he can contribute immediately he doesn’t have the skill set or upside of somebody you take at that spot

You would need to hope he can learn to shoot 3s sooner than later if you’re trying to take Clingan #1. Don’t think I see that.

Sarr makes more sense as a higher ceiling guy. Lower floor, but you gotta take the risk at that spot.
