Incredible achievement for Leverkusen I’m glad they were able to see out the invincible season in the league.
 
Kinda shocking that the Bavarian football machine that is Bayern has never pulled off the first undefeated season in the Bundesliga.

Leverkusen managed to establish a piece of history no one else could grab.

All with a manager who just started his managing career too. Legendary player but that's by no means a guarantee for success.
From a club to go from being mocked as Neverkusen and continually falling just short, to now establishing such an insane record.
Besides Wirtz, it's not like the squad is filled with superstars. Good players, sure, but the chemistry on the pitch between the whole squad is amazing.
