Is Michael Malone's coaching style detrimental to winning? Ran his guys straight into the ground.

i owe Kat an apology. he was hoopin in the 2nd and 3rd. he was the reason the wolves were down 15 and not 20+ at the half and then kept it going in the third quarter.

committed dumb fouls, but then again, everyone does when they're guarding jokic. he should have an easier time against gafford, pj and lively

He will make you retract this within the next 10 days.

The death of the nuggets title run was in the details. Casual with the ball, not boxing out etc both lead to a trip to Cancun.

I think deep down they really thought it would be easy and that they could just fancy foot around and still win. Game 6 and 7 showed that they returned to that state of mind. Props to the wolves for bringing the intensity when it was needed most.

Jokic not being placed on the block and cooking out of that one on one, or hitting open shooters was a mistake , especially during those Minnesota runs.

Kcp days as a defensive perimeter #1 may be done.

Mpj is a useless bag of bones if he's not standing still and shooting.

Braun, Holiday and especially Watson aren't what the nuggets thought they'd be. Wtf happened to Watson? All season they've been telling us how versatile he is especially as a defender...???

In what direction? None of these 4 teams mirror each other or a specific game plan for roster construction
Away from top heavy trio teams specifically

Away from feeling like the only way you can win is if you shoot 60 3s a game.

Towards defensive minded clubs who control the paint, the glass and defend at a high level.

Away from having star players that are redundant in skill set.

1. Fair point.
2. The top 2 teams in 3PFGA during the regular season were the Celtics and the Mavs
3. Pacers were a bottom 3rd defense, Mavs middle of the pack
4. Celtics again

end of the day, gotta build around your best guys, get lucky, and develop.
