My 14 year old ended up just like his old man, wearing a 14 at 14. I selectively give him pairs of mine to wear but definitely should have had better foresight. I had posted about the outsole on the left shoe peeling off in a Chipotle (last year I think?).

I actually have a pair listed on Mercari right now that no one wants.
I can’t bring myself to wear them because they’ll never stay ice white so prefer to unload them if possible.
I’d argue they should’ve went white/gum outsole for the Racer and maybe white/navy outsole for the Trainer
I’d probably be okay with them using their signature color palette once per model and then leave it be. They’ve shown a willingness to do things differently on the Air Ship already, so no need to beat the same colors to the ground.

Be sure to carry a spare set of shoes with you. Even if they do survive the wash, this is a 19 year old pair of thoroughly used sneakers - I’d expect them to quickly fall apart.

They absolutely did, probably an effort to make them seem hyped. No way all the sizes that always sit like that 3.5-6 all sold out in the first 10 mins.
