Does anyone have any leads on the Old Skool Zip Chili pepper or the Black version in a 12? I missed both for $55 each the other day :\ I've become so addicted to the convenience of zips it's ridiculous.

CW reminds me of the skunk dunks except with a gum bottom but somethings not right, they look faded. Thanks for the in hand pics to help me get off the fence at least.

^REPPED At $35 off I went ahead and doubled up on the HAL Old Skool so I could start beating on a pair. First double up in a loooong time.

I originally wanted the Veggie Sk8s but after my Old Skools came in I'm not impressed enough to drop $110 on the sk8 hi.

Same. I accidentally added 2 to cart so with the time wasted trying to remove one I knew I wouldn't make it.

The veggie tan pack is sooo clean I had to grab the old Skools. The sk8 hi already sold out on Vans.com, anyone know where else to grab the sk8 hi? I see some spots like sole classics only have the Old Skools and Authentics. Maybe they just haven't received the sk8 hi's yet?

I'll try for the Blends, not getting my hopes up though. These are the weakest bone stripe release yet though imo so I won't be as butthurt at least.

Man I love these HALs old Skools. If they come down below retail I'm grabbing another pair to turn into beaters to replace my black wtaps 36. If the soles on the HALs were a light grey they'd be perfect. Don't like cleaning white soles after every few wears but whatevz.

Can't wait to strike out on another Blends release. The chili pair is still my favorite, had to pay resale early for them but just glad to have 1 pair from Blends.

How could you tell? LOL Would they really compensate for a box though? It's worth a try. I definitely was not happy >:
