More than likely, yeah. I just posted a comparison for the goofy ahh factory talk that was going on in here as it doesn't matter for this release. Within one single factory there are variations between pairs. Even though my set of pairs is only one instance, and thus a very small sample size...

Pair number 2 arrived today. Compared them side by side with the shock drop pair and for what it's worth, both are LN3 yet my release day SNKRS pair has a better toebox shape than the shock drop pair. Release day (left) vs Shock drop (right) Shock drop (left) vs Release day (right)

Well shoot I stand corrected. The black infrareds I sent have the indent/embossing very noticeable, to the point that it's similar to the GS pairs we see today, but this explains it. Thanks for the info 👍

Just to add salt to the wound, don't forget that GS Jordan 6s have the ankle pods cut out/indented the same way that the Adult OGs in 1991 did. Adult pairs today are still lacking this feature.

At this point I'm just here for the release day shenanigans. Should have just given these the High '85 Cut with the black tongue, 'Air Jordan' stamp on the collar and no signatures. But, since we're not getting that, at least we know regular High '85 Black Toes are still on the table.

The factory talk makes more sense with the recent 3s because of the noticeable variations in EP height and print thickness between pairs, but beyond that I dunno. For this release specifically the production factories don't seem to matter much.

I'm just glad to see the NT pizza party tradition continues to live on with this release. My SNKRS pair hasn't actually made it into carrier hands and I'm guessing they won't until this evening or late tonight.

Wednesday is when my pair is scheduled to be here, according to UPS. Once they arrive, whatever pair is the most flawed will be going into rotation immediately, though to be honest, it seems like most pairs of these are pretty solid. I've yet to see any pairs in here or online that got the short...

SNKRS pair is ready for carrier pickup. Guessing they'll be here by Wednesday, maybe Thursday at the latest.

I thought the '22* Fire Red 3s were great. Leather quality is OK but it ain't like we buy Jordan's for their leather quality in here. They're also not nearly as expensive as the Reimagineds. Can be had for around retail on ebay it seems.

I'm eagerly awaiting White Cement 4s in this shape. BRING EM BACK!

As long as they look like the Black Cement equivalent of the '22* Fire Red 3s or last year's Reimagined 3s, I'm content. Edit: I got the release year confused with the Fire Red 5s
