    I was going to fire off & say the lines just don't work but it's not that bad.  I think it's so different because the contrast between red & black is so strong that you create a new feature for the shoe.

    ...it might be the light in the photos actually. If they are pretty much the same color then I think they work very well as they kinda bounce off each other (visually) & work to frame the shoe; top to bottom.

    Very well done. It seems like you "finished" the shoe with those minor tweaks & it's now complete. Flawless paintwork! I would try to darken the sock liner reveal to match the grey part of sole.

    Visually, the shoe can be read very easily as you differentiate the parts & materials with different colors which is unique by comparison to the ubiquitous monochrome Huarache's.  Did you intend to do this? They remind me of a lifestyle release colorway and I would feel restricted to wear...
