Stoked! Just won a pair of Pine Greens in the End raffle

I reckon the photographer/editor made the green quite dark. They look darker than all of the other photos I've seen.

I said I'd stop buying 1's for a while after getting the Shadows, but these are a must have. Green's my favourite colour.

Ordered two pairs, one from Nike NZ and other from FTL UK

Placed my order through BSTN. Then I noticed that Nike UK has them for slightly cheaper. Oh well. Hope my order ships.

2017 BHM's are definitely a top quality shoe, and have the absolute best leather all over the entire shoe out of the 1s I do own (SBBs, Royals, Breds, Black Toes, Cyber Mondays, Lasers). I don't know how the BHMs compare to Frags or 2011 Banneds since I don't own those.

Nike must have changed that text over the past day because this is a screenshot @babyJs23  took yesterday that shows different text that did not say anything about "during the shoe's production process":

50/50 mix of angelus black paint and gac-900. They're a tad bit more stiff than proper black tongues, but nothing to worry about. The only negative thing, in my opinon, is that the paint makes them look shiny. But for me, it was cheaper and quicker to paint them compared to buying a donor pair...

Painting the tongue is easy. I just need to stop being lazy and grab some red paint so I can finish the Nike Air tag.

@K20Lee  with that 1985 fire x 3 Big thanks to @imui for2oh  for the oop on these. The blue leather is amazing - really soft and plush. I love it. Not such a fan of the black leather but hey I now own a pair of Royals. One big pair of sneakers off my tiny bucket list.

I feel the same way but only up until a certain price point. For me that's a max of $350. I did that with the Breds last year.

7 days of Js with the 2017 BHM's. The leather quality is A1 and to me it feels similar to the SBB (which I also own and love) but the soft leather is over the entire shoe, not just the orange and sail parts of the SBBs. The heel collar and toe box are especially soft.
