    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

Well articulated. Perhaps I’m jaded by how I grew up and what I’m used to: Air Jordan being the dominant force. I’m just not sure that’s the case anymore in terms of new performance sig models from what I am around now. I am a DIE HARD Jordan fan and have owned every single model to date. Even...

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

That was more of just optics. Shoot maybe they are making a killing off of new sig models. Feels otherwise at least compared to when I was growing up. The Lebron point was slight jokes but also I don’t see most younger people rushing to cop a new Jordan sig, There isn’t much attachment to...

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

At this point I just think Jordan Brand should probably discontinue the signature/numbered models. Obviously don’t stop making sneakers because they are a sneaker/lifestyle/sportswear company but what’s the point if your flagship model is discounted 3 weeks after release and still can’t sell...

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

That’s what I been saying. Just a blander version of the 38 with slightly better cushioning? I also agree the design team needs a change of direction/leader. 38 was solid but those 37s were trash and now these. Not trending well for the sig line. Reminds me of that super trash 2009-2012 era

I appreciate the receipts you provided and I see your point. However these look basically like a lazier version of the 38 lows. I’d love to eventually see a side by side with those. And to be fair those Carolina 39s don’t look terrible. For $100.00 I may consider it

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

Are you referring to the 3s, 4s? I look at those as more 5/8 than lows. What others are you thinking of straight up low tops?

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

Oh well..looks like the first Air Jordan model I will not own. Cannot stand low top sneakers and all these brands keep making shoes lower and lower.

    Air Jordan 2/3

Maybe the Spizikes at first. I don’t recall people vibin with the Legacy 312 like that initially. And honestly the low top legacy 312 looks pretty good in OGish colorways. Only reason I didn’t cop is because there are a million actual signature retros dropping otherwise I would have got one...

    Air Jordan 2/3

I agree. I’m thinking more of people I know and watching YouTube. It’s like they hate on those but all of a sudden these are more acceptable which is what is confusing me.

    Air Jordan 2/3

I’m saying that it seems these are more accepted than other team Jordan’s that look similar. Guess I had to dumb it down some

Jordan IV Military Blue - May 4, 2024

I actually agreed 100% with Welty’s opinion on the “Industrial Blue” name change. Definitely corny on the part of Jordan Brand. I also do not understand why it takes a collab for Jordan Brand to fix the molds on these shoes? for example the Air Jordan 2 and Off-White and most recently the Air...

    Air Jordan 2/3

Honest question…why do people so far seem to accept these more than the legacy 312 or Spizike when it’s basically the same tooling? Seems like people are influenced by others opinions when it comes to those other shoes I mentioned and that’s kinda lame to me.

    Jordan V Olive - March 2, 2024

Hope you are right. Every shoe I think that about ends up being harder than expected to get

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

I dig it. I’m just saying the reason you mentioned regarding weight didn’t make sense to me. And I only really commented because I feel like there may be a Jordan Brand employee/lurker in these threads that will advocate for all these low tops to keep bein produced when someone who grew up...

    Air Jordan 39 (XXXIX)

I’m sayin lol. like most of the weight is in the midsole/sole, not a piece of leather/foam on the top. That argument never made sense to me
