I could see someone like say 40 being a new super producer. Entirely new sound to the genre T E A M L A K E R S 1949, 1950, 1952, 1953, 1954, 1972, 1980, 1982, 1985, 1987, 1988, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2009, 2010.... This season will shape the future of this franchise..

Registered Member Posts: 4564 11/14/11 2:47 PM	^^^He wasn't saying Luger & T-Minus were at all on their level, he was just saying people are constantly flocking to those two for beats sense they are in high demand right now. But like sillyputty said, they really don't have to even produce anymore, but you also have to keep in mind that they don't only produce hip hop. All 3 of them have been producing pop songs for a LOOOONG time, so I do think that have affected their hip hop beats (that and just being so successful for so long). To actually answer your question though ( ) it really does feel like forever though. Dre's stuff on The Documentary is what i immediately think of for him. Pharrell...Hell Hath No Fury is the first thing I think of. Timbaland...good lord, as far as rap...it seems like I have to go back more than ten years for him. "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" was a banger, but not "great" by any means.
