Registered Member Posts: 5981 12/04/11 12:46 AM	It was the summer of 98' I just got the new Kicks Mag, (this was pretty much pre online sneaker sites) so you guys already know how important Slam Mags/Eastbay's were back then, so getting a mag devoted to all Kicks was amazing to me. so I get close to the end of the Magazine & I see the Eddie Jones Pro Quick & fell in love with them, I remember going into all the local shoe stores with the mag and asking if they were gonna have them, I didn't know Player Only actually meant "Player only" I've always hoped one day I would get them and Friday I got them locally for a great deal, still have my og kicks mag too... Being how the Nike WHQ is in Beaverton with lots of employees living around the greater Portland area, some hookups for high schools are bound to happen... employees with kids on the teams getting shoes for their upcoming season.. even employees who are coaches for high school teams allow a relationship to form for the reception of shoes that will not be released at retail for high schoolers... even the testing of shoes or spikes that will not be out for years....
