The best things you can do to improve your battery life are: 1. Lower your brightness to the lowest possible setting you can "tolerate". And turn off auto adjust. 2. All push notifications need to be turned off, as well as your email setting. Set your email to fetch manually. Or else your phone will constantly be searching for new email thus using battery. *the only push notifications i keep on are my SMS texts for obvious reasons. 3. Turn off all location devices. Again you can switch them on when using GPS or maps but until your going to use it there is no need for your phone to waste it's battery on it. 4. One that i don't practice much is using airplane mode when your in a subway (if that applies to you) or especially DUR on an airplane. Or any time you won't be using your phone put on airplane mode so it stops looking for service towers. Vice versa, when your in the middle of nowhere and won't be using a wifi for sure, cut off your WIFI it will also save battery. For example the HBOGO app for android only works up to 2.3.* which obviously excludes ICS and honeycomb where the iOS version works on all devices. I am also hearing Verizon is blocking their phones from downloading certain apps the whole Android market thing is a big clustermess when it comes to device support. @SOURdieselxPHIL

Numerous devs have also stated that they're more inclined to work and produce for iOS

I asked apple about this, and why whenever you have an account on a cpu/pc and reformat it, apple sees it as authorizing a new pc/cpu. They said you know what we never really thought about that or notice this or even had anyone question us about it.
