And son of a $$+%$ if they didn't go out and choke so hard that I was STILL flabbergasted/disgusted at how badly they choked. Jesus *+#!!%+ Christ. If that was any coach not named Frank Beamer/without Beamer's resume of building this program, people would be calling for his head after that debacle. Perhaps I'm being harsh because it's my team but I've already had many other fans agree. I don't think I've ever seen a halfway decent coach coach a worse game than that. PUTRID coaching.

-Blocked punt attempt where we roughed the punter. We have gotten burned by this twice already this year, and once against Boise and numerous times in the past couple years. I was screaming for us not to go for the block and lo and behold we do and we get the roughing call. Few plays later Denard throws that horse !$$% pass that shoulda been picked if Eddie Whitley could catch, and Michigan scores a TD.
-We ended up converting, but going for it on 4th and 11? What the *%!% Frank?
-On the sequence before the fake punt, Wilson got stopped in the backfield and broke loose for about a 5 yard gain but the refs said his knee was down. The replay was shown on the jumbotron and the crowd went crazy thinking his knee wasn't down, and Wilson gets up and adamently says his knee wasn't down. Frank makes no attempt to challenge or call timeout to review and we run a play with plenty of time left on the play clock.
-Then on 4th down he calls a timeout to think things over. Would have been halfway acceptable if we were gonna go for it and needed to draw up a play, but he decides to come out in a punt formation instead. WHAT THE *%!% DO YOU THINK MICHIGAN IS PREPARING FOR ON THE SIDELINES ON 4TH DOWN DURING A TIMEOUT. DO YOU HONESTLY THINK THEY WON'T BE GUARDING AGAINST A FAKE PUNT? Simply one of the worst coaching decisions I've ever seen. Michigan gets the ball in good field position and kicks the go-ahead field goal, which wouldn't have happened if we had just punted. Michigan's O did nothing the entire game outside of two fluke throws, did Frank really think they were gonna drive 70 yards for the winning score? Instead he just put the FG on a platter for them.
-Something like 5 red zone possessions and 6 points to show for it at one point. Unreal. The passing game was working well for most of the first half and our WR's were getting separation. When it matters most we take the ball out of Logan's hands and stubbornly try to run it and play into Michigan's strength on D while our POS OL can't sustain a block to save their lives. On the first drive when we had 1st and goal from the 4 I was just PRAYING we wouldn't run anything with Wilson as our OL can't block for !$$% at the goalline/on short yardage. Lo and behold that's what we get, and two of our OL get blown up into the backfield like they always do on short yardage. Wilson inexplicably runs backwards 25 yards like a moron.
-After LT threw that pick our offense went ultra conservative despite having a clear advantage in the passing game. No excuse for that. I understand you want to get Wilson the ball, but go with what's working/where you have the advantage. We were able to move the ball ok with the run game, but LT was having a pretty good game and we took the ball out of his hands and played not to lose.

I'm so *+#!!%+ fed up with this program. Can anybody honestly name me one program that even comes close to gagging as hard as we do and getting bad breaks in big games? Even aside from the terrible coaching, inopportune penalties, etc we had nothing go our way all game and never once took advantage of Michigan's miscues. How the hell could Frank be this bad at preparing a team for a game or have this poor luck?

We go the whole year playing sound fundamentally and on special teams, then we get to a big game/bowl game and have nothing but turnovers and special teams errors. Losing to Stanford and Clemson wasn't as hard to take because even though we did those things they still outplayed us. I don't feel as if Michigan did anything spectacular tonight except for stopping the run. Other than that they could barely move the ball and weren't playing good pass defense or special teams either. They made two plays on the ball on offense when it mattered and that won them the game. Nobody can EVER make a play when we need them to? We couldn't have ONE ball bounce our way or get a lucky break? Denard threw 5-6 balls easily that should have been picked. The one INT we got, we did nothing with it. Another should have been picked, but instead Eddie Whitley blows the play and Gibbons gets a 45 yard TD on an absolute DUCK of a throw.

Then we fumble the ensuing kickoff, but hold them to a field goal. Either the snap was bad or they went for a fake, but the play was busted as hell and the holder just throws up a prayer that doesn't even land in the vicinity of a Michigan player. Son of a $$+%$ if it doesn't bounce off of TWO of our guys and right into the hands of the center, giving them another field goal attempt from the 5 yd line. Which ended up winning the game. Are you *+#!!%+ kidding me?

Hosley gets TWO picks on the same drive in the third quarter, one gets overturned as the ball slightly hit the ground. I'm not upset with that review as I thought it could have gone either way. Later in the drive Hosley gets another pick on another miserable throw by Denard and it gets called back for a PI penalty. Both guys looked to be fighting for position and it looked like Hosley may have grabbed his jersey I guess, but still a terrible throw that they get bailed out on. Two plays later Denard throws another pass that's way off target and lucks into a catch in the back of the end zone by Junior Hemingway. Watch the replay, the ball was not at all thrown where it was supposed to be and yet it's in just the right spot for Hemingway to stop his route and catch it a foot inside the back of the end zone.

The TD that got called back in OT, at first I thought wasn't a catch. But after looking at it several times he had clean possession and his elbow/left knee & thigh were hitting the ground in bounds simultaneously. From memory the ball seemed to hit the ground but IMO the ground did not aid the possession at all; I'm not sure how the ref said he didn't maintain possession. It was a close play that could have gone either way and I don't feel slighted by it being overturned; we didn't lose the game because of that call. We lost that game mostly in the 1st and 2nd quarters by having to settle for field goals and later in the game by !$$% coaching by Frank. I swear on everything I own I've been saying all week the game would come down to us missing a field goal because of Cody Journell being a *%%@*!@ and getting kicked off the field. Wasn't even surprised to see that ending at all.
