Unless the cops rearranged the entire story to make them seem innocent [which does happen], this seems to be reasonable. Not that I agree with shooting a kid, but this outcome could've been avoided had he not gone to the point of bringing a gun to school

I've read a few news articles and none of them mention a BB gun. No one said it was 3 shots from the same officer. Most likely 3 shots from 3 different officers. If someones pulling a gun, they're not going to look around and decide who's going to take the shot. They're all going to shoot.

Crazy that a place like this that no one has ever heard of gets mentioned in this manner. And if it's law that ALL toy guns must have an orange tip then I could make billions of lawsuits because if I go to walmart right now I'd find a lot of toy guns that don't have it.

Almost every toy gun I see is either painted a bright color, or has an orange tip.
A 6 mm minimum orange tip must be present on the barrel end of the airsoft gun (or clear/transparent body) to identify it as such for any commercial sales.[16] Once sold, local laws may vary on whether or not the orange tip must be kept. In many places no laws exist restricting one from removing or replacing the orange tip, but one should check the local laws before making such a modification.
