Anywhos, for some reason I aint feeling it. Im guessing its the bow tie but maybe its the watch too. A nice leather band woudve been a lot better looking. Another small detail thats bothering me is the fact that theres a lot of the red checkered shirt sticking out of the sleeve on the wrist area. Throws off the picture a bit.

I agree that it's pretty pointless just to post some rolling smileys.  I also agree that the bowtie isn't working and it's too "matchy" with the watch band...though I'd lose the bowtie to begin with.

Just got my Indochino suits back from my local tailor a few days ago. I'm liking the fit a lot, although I feel that the sleeves on the grey 3-piece are a bit too long. What do you guys think?






The mirror is very dirty. Shoulda cleaned it before I took these pics.

edit: I should mention that the dark suit is the Essential Navy, and the grey one is the Light Grey 3 Piece.

First one looks really good from what I can see.  My only issues are, like others have said, that tie clip is way too big and your shirt collar is too small.  Second one, jacket and shirt sleeves are slightly too long for me.  My personal opinion is that I don't like the tie clip with the 3-piece.  Others may, that's just me, I feel it's too high up and looks a little silly but if you like it, proceed.

And the denim jacket...I use mines for layering purposes, I rarely wear it by itself.

Nicely done with the layering.  Quick question, if you only wear the denim jacket for layering purposes, you're always taking off two jackets when you're inside?

Give me an exact definition to the term "dressing better" I'll wait. Dude simply asked for some examples of how a denim jacket should be worn, I gave an option, an easy comfortable one.

There's nothing wrong with what you wore, it's fine for what you wore going for...though I don't believe what you said about something along the lines of not caring what you've got on when you wear a New Era.  BUT, and it's open to interpretation, I thought this thread was about clothes that you could wear to work, dinner, a nice bar/club.  You know, more well-dressed, grown up clothing which includes suits, etc.  Life beyond college which can still include what you had on but this thread is a step past that.

Yeah, you gave an option and if that's what he was looking for, that's great, you helped him out.  But don't get all uptight that it isn't "dressing better".
