Registered User Posts: 100 01/11/12 4:22 PM	I think the issue with us guys is once we get into a relationship with a chick that we are really into we begin to lose focus on ourselves and start giving the chick even more/too much attention. Then because of this what the chick originally saw in us she no longer see's it and then they lose all interest and wanna break things off. They make it seem like everything is going good, but then they just break it off out of the blue and then we become so shocked about it when the issue was always there. And we try to get back with em and in some cases we do, but then it ends because of the same issue. For example 2 posters in the previous pages stated that they gave up their friends for their girl. Right away you lost track of your own life and began to focus more on your girl.That is foolish imho. Your boys are apart of your life, you shouldn't change who you are to try and please someone. Just be who you are before and after you get with someone. Tldr; My point is focus on yourself and dont get off track just because your girl is bad or because you're really in love with her and be yourself.

Was my longest relationship (for a very long time until recently), however she called it off and things went awry. '07, met two cool potentials. One was someone that sort of got into the picture over time, but due to drama (and other complications) we broke up. The other came out of the blue had nearly everything I wanted in a girl, but I wasn't ready and lost hold of that relationship. She now has a kid and recently became a MILF (at least in my eyes). Wanted to get back with her before she had the kid, but after she had him I was too late. Was single for a very long time... went through a good amount of dates (INS, YIS and etc.). Currently I'm just living life and I'm going through a tough time right now, however it seems there's a little bit of hope (at least in this department). So my advice is, keep your head up, be ambitious, let time pass, focus on new goals and acquire new friends and financial stability for 2012 . 2011, one year to live in this earth filled heaven or forever bounded to hell with the devil's touch, just live life why worry so much?© Official NT: Staying Positive Thread

Registered Member Posts: 3252 01/16/12 7:48 AM	my ex boyfriend and i have been "together" for three years pretty much. i'm still very much in love with him. we were officially during my senior year of high school. he was really clingy and demanding about things and this put alot of stress on me because i felt very trapped. with the added stress of college responsibilities, upcoming finals, AND on the brink of failing a class, i didn't know what i wanted. i broke up with him at the end of my senior year because i was very confused about things. he wouldn't respect the fact that i direly needed some time to study for finals. a week after our breakup, my ex started messing around with one of his coworkers. around the same time, i was in the "talking" stage with one of my closest high school friends for less than two weeks as a rebound. but it turned out that dude wasn't genuine and only wanted me for carnal reasons. and so, i broke things off with him my ex and i realized that we still loved each other so we tried to work things out. BUT there was a catch: if i really did love him, i would let him continue his FWB relationship with his coworker until school started.... at the same time, he was seeing me. three months later, the coworker found herself a real boyfriend, and so, my ex and i happily began working things out. one day he told me that about this much younger trainee at his job, who he considers as his "little sister". they ended up making out with like five times behind my back "little sister" was mad jealous of me and she pretty much used her psychological issues to take advantage of him. he stopped talking to her when i started to become depressed from his actions. i felt so betrayed. our relationship was very complicated since the summer before i left for college. we acted like a couple but we didn't have an official title. this lasted until november of my sophomore year in college. he broke it off for good in mid-november 2011. i haven't spoken to him for a month until he started talking to me again on new year's eve 2011. that's when my feelings for him started rushing back. That love should of left when you found out little sis was aboard the train. I'm sure it's guys in the World somewhere that will treat you better and respect your space when needed, but you don't have to take my advice. Seems like just yesterday a lot of People on NT hated resellers.....Now I see most of those same People are Resellers. Bunch of hypocrites.
