If you click on the image of any teams jersey you get the same file: http://en.wikipedia.org/w...:Kit_body_basketball.png Then when you click on File usage you get: File usage More than 100 pages link to this file. The following list shows the first 100 page links to this file only. A full list is available. How do these wikipedia pages all have the proper colors displayed in this file? Or download ColorPicker on GoogleChrome/Firefox and retrieve the HEX. (color number highlighted) http://www.cssdrive.com/imagepalette/ Or here http://www.colorcombos.com/ for the colors. Registered Member Posts: 1387 01/12/12 10:14 PM	It's been a while since I've taken html, but it looks like they defined a template where the sides are white, and the colors go to a certain defined area defined by a set pixel count. Here's the part of the the HTML code that does it: from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASK_Riga If you're using Chrome or Firefox, press control-u to view the HTML source of the page. Lines 124 to 130 are what you want (look at the left to see what line you're on). It looks like they've defined a template, and just manually inserted the color code in hex w/ a definite position (for example, the first color code you see is #FFDF00, which is the code for yellow, the home jersey). If you look at lines 135 to 141, it's the same thing, but w/ a different color code (#99BADD, for carolina blue, the away jersey). My HTML is a pretty rusty, so it might not be exact, but that's the gist of it. Hope this helps. Last Edited By: tml09 01/12/12 10:21 PM. Edited 2 times.

Most likely an editor derives them from here: http://www.ssur.org/research/TeamColors/team_colors.htm I didn't know there was a Society for Sports Uniform Research It seems that whoever makes the page approximates the color of the team's actual color to the closest hexadecimal color code (the color codes used in html) and displays them on the page in the right spot.

That information is no highly guarded secret.
