Wasn't the prettiest game of the year but I'll take it. Guys just seemed a half step off tonight. Melo doesn't make or break that team if he's adequate - the half court offense is the issue and Melo is irrelevant in fixing that. Don't think Billy Kennedy was a bad hire, at least not yet....but given where Murray St is and where A&M is..does not look good on the surface. HOYAS

Murray St underachieved last year, even lost 3 starters and now they're undefeated...meanwhile even with health issues to him and his players..there's no real reason for A&M to look this lifeless/bad. not fair to put either outcome on Kennedy but with how everything has broken, it sure doesn't make him look like great. Two biggest things for me as a Cuse fan last night was that Rakeem grew up and played physical and that we can win with Dion on the bench if he struggles. Also heard that the issue with Fab Melo was that there was mass cheating on a final exam so he needs to retake it as well as all the other students. If he passes he is good. If that is the case then it's the teachers fault for being careless with he exam not Fab's! Allen did you hear about the new jerseys for Cuse, Duke, UConn, UK being unveiled tomorrow? I wanted to see if there were any leaked pictures.

Both times Cuse wore the blue alternatives they lost. I don't know where Nike got this fascination with grey uniforms but as far as I'm concerned Syracuse is the "Orange" for a reason. I wouldn't be opposed to Orange home jerseys and Blue away though and get rid of the silver in general.

We aren't a top title contender. Rakeem was good last night, but I don't think he will/can keep it up the rest of the way. He is real raw, but by junior year I think he will blossom into a good player. With Melo it sounds like it is 50/50 if it is going to be a full year thing. Everyone is waiting on this ruling, and it's not a good feeling. Grey uniforms? They can't get much worse then what we have now. . .
