Jailbreak voids the warranty (I believe), however, you can always update your phone to get rid of the jailbreak through iTunes. No biggie. Honestly, I would wait a few days to see the problems that people have with the jailbreaking. So the developers can make a better build for the jailbreak.

AST [Apple's division of Secured Technology] has recently been monitoring and tagging "high target" applications which users download from jailbreaking (in which the user bypasses the iTunes application store to acquire the applications by illegal means). This division then keeps logs of this data and their owners. What Apple plans to do with this information and whether it has legal ramifications for the user has yet to be disclosed.
