I think as Laker fans we've become spoiled through the years and expect moves to be made instantly to improve the team. I'd love for us to pick up the center from Orlando, but I just think there's too much hype surrounding that trade for it to actually happen.

I feel you, and I agree.

I hope you see where I am coming from as well...  I honestly think we are 3 players away from a championship..  But at the same time it's frustrating watching a contender squander all that we have because of weakness (Pau), bad conditioning (Bynum), not giving a damn , and stupidity (Morris, Metta).. I do the trade scenarios more as boredom and an outlet for being pissed off at our underachiever status..

I just want a Point Guard, A person who can score on the second unit, and a backup 4 (and I think that would calm all my complaints about the current guys)

It is frustrating also knowing if we got CP3 that we would be a completely different team, and be playing to our potential.

I wonder if after the trade for CP3 failed if they tried to just do a deal with the Rockets..  If we would have gotten Martin & Scola and probably a bench player it would have been nice.

I hear ya, I really do. I share your frustrations. This team is hard to watch at times. I do believe this team is better than what we've seen the past two nights.

The good news it that Mitch sees the same things we do and he knows the team needs help. The real question is if he's waiting until the trade deadline to make a move. Maybe he thinks he can capitalize on somebody's desperation. Which I guess is understandable. You don't want to make the wrong move early before you panicked early in the season.
