Registered Member Posts: 698 01/25/12 4:13 PM	Tags : None Well I know this semester just started for cc students but I'm looking forward to June. I'm transferring to Cal state northridge and just wondering to all niketalkers who have gone through or are currently in college, should I live in the dorms? Or get an apartment? I don't really like sharing anything, and particular about my space and when I sleep. And I'm kind of stingy So niketalk what do you guys recommend? Edit: then again I don't want to not have friends. They're designed to be apartments they're pretty dope so in your situation I would just stay at the dorms because it's just like an apartment. Registered Member Posts: 430 01/25/12 4:54 PM	im currently goin to csun. but i live like a 2 miles away so i dont dorm or anything, but apartments tend to be cheaper plus at csun dorms its a pain if u wanna have someone stay overnight u gotta sign em in and sign em out its easier to get an apartment and avoid all there rules

Registered Member Posts: 157 01/25/12 5:03 PM	When I was in college (2004-2008), apartments were cheaper and I'm pretty sure they still are unless you're going to a small school. That being said, I would go for the apartment. I lived on campus 1 year (junior year), and it was a downgrade. And I didn't have a roommate. BEAT THE CASE LIKE ORENTHAL ABOVE THE LAW IT'S SO HARD TO PIN THE BIG DOG

Dorms are kinda whack once everybody grows out of that reckless phase ( girls pretty much got with anybody freshman year. Even the future bums got cakes). Plus the rooms most likely will be super tiny and have dumb rules applied

What you majoring in? I'm going as an economics major. Thanks for the help you guys. Ive pretty much made up my mind apartments it is. Anybody in that area stay or been to some aPartments? Youll meet the right people and then you can all get an apt. i know a couple of people who got an apt, hated their roomates and were basically stuck there cause its more secluded. a dorm is like a giant house
