Someone school me on the new Marlins hats- is there a specific NEW ERA fitted that is better than another- Total newb here as far as NEra hats go- I saw the Orange and Black one and prefer the Orange, but I don't know if there are other colors available that I missing out on. Any info and or pics would be appreciated.

There's the standard 5950 and the low profile that has a lower crown but most hat shops/sites make their customs in the regular 5950 and the official on-field hats are 5950 as well. Those two Marlins hats you mentioned are the 2 official on-field hats the players will be wearing. A couple shops were able to get some custom colors done in the Miami Marlins logo (coincidentally both did em up in black and teal). However, the black hat and the orange hat are your 2 options to pick from.

The team was originally going to not allow any customs for the 2012 season but apparently have changed their minds and will allow them to a certain extent; basically the less different from their team colors; the more likely they'll approve the hat to be made. Kinda defeats the purpose of a custom hat though smiley: eyes
