Registered User Posts: 145 01/29/12 1:57 AM	Just getting in from the game and hitting a bar afterwards.... Thoughts and impressions: Bradley Center was nice, crowd was into it for both teams. Lots of other lakers fans there, which was nice. Lakers seemed very uninterested the whole game. Kobe played well, and that was fun to get a chance to see him play for the first time. Not mad at Goudluck or fish even today, both of them got some points and Jennings didnt go nuts like i thought he would. Smh at Gooden, Dunleavy, and some guy who's name i cant recall (something with an I or L i think) being the main reasons we lost. Gasol..... I honesty forgot he was there during the game until every time he made a mistake. I understand that whatever he was going through in last years playoff, then the trade is having a big effect on his game but how long is that gonna last??? Im a fan of his and realize that him coming got us back to the promise land, but i cant believe what im seeing now. Overall very good experince for my first La game, (other than them losing) and I already wanna plan for my next one.

Registered Member Posts: 1316 01/29/12 6:32 AM	My cousin was talking to me about the bench. And how we don't have that spark and how that 2nd unit doesn't pick up the pace. He's a Spurs fan btw and was pointing out that teams like the Spurs, Dallas and pretty much other teams that have slower tempo starting five's usually have a run and gun or atleast a quicker bench which we are obviously missing. For instance, Shannon Brown was buns most of the time but the tempo picked up and also to have Lamar in there actually running the floor was great for us. So, I'm left confused at this point. Not sure whether to say player personnel are at fault or whether its the offense, but the second unit we have now just can't get it going. Like all them dudes are waiting for something to happen even when Kobe isn't on the floor its like they're playing the waiting game until the shot clock fades out. And with these Gil Arenas rumors starting up, I'm thinking about it and honestly not sure whether he'll make a damn difference or not.

Makes no sense to have no semblance of an offense this far into the season. Kobe has to score, facilitate, and basically run everything, otherwise we look like a D-league team and Brown is running him into the ground. This team won't make it out of the 1st round seriously. And don't know if the front office can really make any moves considering Bynum is the only one a team would want at this point.
