It's funny that so many people didn't listen to the few of us who said it was a terrible idea. Shaq is good in SMALL doses. Always has been. He was good interacting with the media for the last ten years of his career, but it was clear that actually being a member of the media wasn't a good idea. I honestly think Shaq chose TNT because he thought he could just be loose and act a fool, and no corporate bigwig would tell him otherwise. But we can all tell it's uncomfortable on set. At a certain point Turner will put the foot down.

Dude will NOT let go of certain things. Thankfully the Wizards suck so bad that he stopped mentioning Javale McGee like he was the next great center. And now we're on this Superman crap that he won't let go of. He's hanging on to his legacy, trying to position himself as greater than he actually was, via arguments over today's centers (why else would he say defense and rebounds aren't important at the center position?). Shaq is just mad that a complete opposite player from him (decent offensive player, transcendent rebounder and defender) is regarded as the best center in the league, by far? He's not even coming across as controversial, just arrogant.
