Neither of them mean much to me but they mean the world to my mother and father respectively. There's pictures and diplomas and all sorts of knick-knacks that people mark their accomplishments but the ring just sort of outclasses the rest. (Probably because of w clever marketing plan, word to DeBeers). But in the real world the only people that I see wearing them either: 1. Recall it as the greatest thing they ever accomplished. 2. Use it to cash in on the association. "Networking". Which is cool during the interview or your first year, but after awhile its a little cheesy. It is a great conversation starter but I'd say that there are many (less expensive) ways to advertise your association and its really up to you whether its worth it to YOU.
