Saw a guy wearing the Oreo/Volt racers with the volt midsole painted black. I actually like them a lot better. He also snipped out the volt flywire cables, but I would leave those in. Mocked it up quick in Photoshop to have a better look. LL

Interesting idea. It's supposed to be corn for the Cornhuskers, but they do look a little scaley. Suggestions on burning them in? Wood burner?

This is my first go at reconstruction. The entire shoe is hand-stitched. There are some places that aren't 'tight' but I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. Toe and heel are leather from a catcher's mitt, the blue is denim from an old pair of jeans and the  swoosh is leather from a...
