same sizes as you...i would size up to Large in the shorts...gonna have to use that drawstring maybe, but that Med. was too short and too tight, for me at least

Yo 5'9 135lbs. here...Got the size L in the shorts, the M fit tight and are really short. The Larges are a little longer. I got a M in all the pants though. Then tend to run bigger. The Large pants were way too long and bunched up. Not a fitted fit at all.
