I know you guys love fufu jesus pieces so here are the worst most fugaze ones I've seen online at trash jewelry stores
this one was done by a bespoke jeweler who actually generally knows what he's doing and has many years in the game. not sure what happened
this is just one way chain strength is evaluated, yes. another is fatigue strength which is closer to what you're asking about. this info is generally not important to consumers so it's hard to come by.
even if you don't wear a pendant, the chain will stretch on its own. but solid chains in the sizes that niketalk likes are a lot stronger than people give them credit for.
check the article out tho it actually quantifies that by testing rope, herringbone, and stampato chains of varying widths.
pendant can definitely be heavier.
whether it's a "V" or not kinda depends on the chain itself. Ball chains cannot form a V shape, same goes for Francos and a bunch of other designs.

no beef but krugerrands are 22k...
i did this for a friend's chilean gold coin, custom coin pendant. no prongs or screws. channel set directly in the bezel. one piece, heavy construction

doesn't make sense to refine things yourself, kind of a waste of time.
i personally like that IF&Co Jesus. still doesn't have...
best thing to do is work with someone that knows what they're doing (at minimum has a laser welder).
honestly i'm kind of confused about what people see in JPs. none of them "actually" look like jesus, they're all highly stylized, like byzantine/middle age illuminations or something. and if it...
true. all cast parts have it to some extent, but a lot factors into how problematic it is. basically any good casting house should be laser welding to fix this if it's not too bad.
forging is dope but pretty unrealistic for anything but the simplest geometry (e.g. simple chain links like cuban).
