I remember around when the Lil B/Pack song came out "Got my vans on yadda yadda" Vans were hot then. But the past few years they've definitely made a resurgence, everyones wearing them guys and girls.
The black/white sk8s have kinda become a staple just like the white-on-white AF1s were back...
Nah man.. when I graduated years ago my school (historically PWI) had this as well and I thought it was really well done.
The students still walk at the main commencement ceremony with everyone else, this is just a separate thing where we could run the show and be ourselves a lil bit. We chose...

I can rock with the R&B/Neo soul all day but the UK grime type **** will never be in rotation
There are great UK artists all across other genres. Sade, Radiohead, Adele, Ed Sheeran, Amy Winehouse (rip).. heck even Corynn Baily Rae. But British rap just isn't the wave right now.. not to where it can be marketed to an American audience.
It doesn't. There are plenty of prolific UK rappers.
Their current brand of hip hop won't appeal to American rap music fans though, for the reasons I talked about.
Bro, hearing a southern accent anywhere in the US is a hell of a lot more common than hearing a British accent.
There are southerners who've migrated all over the country, and any time you turn on your TV, radio to listen to music, watch sports etc you are bound to hear people with Southern...
Nah man. Hearing a southern accent is fairly common in the US, even when not in the South. I live in the DMV and I know a lot of oldheads who sound like they're straight out of Biloxi Mississippi
Hearing a U.K. accent in the states is not common, unless it's from watching a supervillain...
Southern what? Southern United States. I know that hearing Southern accents on a hip hop beat was initially offputting to some East Coast rap purists, but come on.. these dudes are rapping with the Queen's English accent ! lol
The UK is a completely different nation with a different history, a...
I didnt mind the Skepta but Giggs verses were terrible .. not a good spotlight for UK hip hop overall
Hate to say it, but this UK hip hop wave will have a hard time taking off in the states because of their accents. Something about a British accent doesn't sound authentic for doing hip hop...
Dom Kennedy was active on here as well. He kinda went the way of Travie, in the sense that they fell off from mainstream
Wale and Ben definitely winning the most from a financial standpoint. Wale wasn't really on here like Ben was though
Having trouble thinking of which Drakes LP I like more than this? To me it's the best project he's put out since maybe Take Care. Most of his studio albums are weak imo and have the same sappy, overproduced sound.
More Life imo is by far Drake's most intriguing album musically, definitely...
The problem is he just gave Nike more promotion by shouting them out over and over on the song :lol
The smart thing would be to not mention them. You won't hear Lebron mention "adidas" or "underarmour" lol, that's giving them free promo
Uh oh.. Wiz got a young James Harden in the cut.. 8o
And he actually plays defense. He's not gonna play a lot right away but future 6MOY in a couple seasons
Man NCAA basketball needs serious improvements to be a good product.. really underwhelming tournament/season, and I actually tried to like college basketball this year
