damn!
Always forget to peep for whether @c flyness is the reason for a thread bump.
Love your old photos, keep doing what you do. But man if it doesn't get my false hopes up every time
Yikes. In Texas? Im not doubting you, I just don't get. Dull green, and sort of eggshell gold
What that got to do with the MLB All-Star?
I assumed (wrongly I guess) that the Griffeys from last All-Star were vaguely Mariner's influenced colors. But now they're keeping the greenish hints for no...
@niketock88
I hear ya
Frankly, I would prefer if Nike just stopped with the marketing BS. The reason people get in a twist over tiny imperfections on retros is cuz Nike sometimes goes out of its way to claim "made to exact specifications" etc. Like the terrible Fire Red IV from a couple years...
That is a time honored bit Nike marketing eyewash. They been lying like that on numerous different models for decades.
Sometimes they stumble into a good result, like the 2020 AM90s, or the recent AT1s. But the "scan" or not, really plays no role
Is there any significance to the weird colorway? I don't hate it, but I don't get it either.
Love to see the MCS tho. gives me hope it'll be a wide release
I'm all for more and more colorways releasing.
But this reemergence of the Agassi line is proving to be such a slow drip feed, that Racer Pink is such waste. We're still 6+ months away from the Lava, and the next drop is gonna be a very slight variation that's another 6+ away? Not what we...
Did the 2023 cleats come in molded MCS?
I know Nike can't be bothered making Deon/baseball crossovers, but a man can dream. I'd kill for something I could bring out for softball.
Glad the stupid butt-flap is gone for good. But from what I've seen so far of the 2024 templates, Nike's first real dip into MLB looks pretty weak. The only real changes seem to be just typical Nike meaningless perforation, and cheap looking materials
being completely honest, the 2s are the aesthetic pinnacle of the Griffey line
Nike gives all the shine to the 1s, and they are the more iconic design, so I get it
But just purely on looks, can't hold a candle to the Griffey Max 2
