I expect so much more from a company netting 6billion. No way was the communication from Nike to Footlocker not crystal clear about how to handle this release. Either way you cut the situation, from the outside looking in...it's not a good look for Footlocker.

Considering how much money they make from their website alone, you would think that footlocker would invest more money & attention into their websites, just to make sure that their revenue isn't interrupted by server crashes.

I agree, these brands have too much power over us as consumers. Look at what resellers are doing on eBay? We need to be smarter, unite, and purposely not buy into a major release just to prove a point.

Any body seen the red tech fleece sweats? I was at the Running store at The Grove in LA, and one of the employees complimented my grey pair and asked if I seen the red ones. It's crazy how fast that release went left. Who would have thought a pair of SWEATS would sell out?! Smh

I am curious why Footlocker had the green light to make a huge announcement, and then minutes later had to change it to "online only." You'd think that a major company would have had it all figured out, especially knowing the "chaos" it would cause ... people calling stores, DURING THE HOLIDAY...
