OFFICIAL MICHIGAN STORE LIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UPDATED 5/4/08!!!!!!!

I know you guys have been waiting to hear/see what was going on/happening with Burn Rubber. Well if you have not heard they have been getting steady shipments of gear, 10 deep, 3 16, leroy jenkins and their own brand of fly "got kicks" shirts. They got in some of the J dilla collectible box sets (each containing a Tee, a picture of dilla himself (may he rest in peace), and the ruff draft ep on cassette tape!!!) but those are going super quick.

Now the time has come to relaunch the kicks section, with confirmations from Nike, Puma, Vans and New Balance (they got 4 dope styles in of the runners) they are waiting for shipments to arrive. Did some one say confirmed tracking number and a delivery date within the next 4-10 days?????? Quickstrike court forces (most notably the womens UENO's), and a premium dunk????? what else will they get, who knows??? call them, go to the store, send a myspace, put up smoke signals....do something because the only TRUE sneaker spot in (or around) the D is back in full swing....did someone also mention a grand re-opening party, yep I said it, get those pockets ready because they might also get back stock......................and by the way, I hear they are getting the Jordan retro account back...mars, stealths, fire reds....yeah ITS GOING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!

see you all in line.. :pimp:

Yeah fam i'm one of the owners at All City, appreciate you was satisfied with your LRG, and 10 Deep. Thanks Fam!

Revive gotta get some love on here...Even though shoes are just cosignment, they got a nice selection, and mad clothing. Cool people up there too

wow ive lived in michigan for a min and never knew there was this stores
i jus usually hit the Athletes foot and the Bob's classic kicks on woodward and Forest
and Pogo

I decided to use today to go check out Detroit's sneaker spots and I must say I'm very proud of the big things that we have going on both in and aroundthe city. I visited four shops: Revive, GOAT, Bob's Classic Kicks, and Burn Rubber and met with the owners of 3 of them. These young entrepreneurs arenothing short of great business men and visionaries, finally bringing a true sneaker head vibe to Detroit. I also stumbled upon a small shop down the streetfrom GOAT, called Spectacles (www.spectaclesdetroit.com), that sales all types street wear, and has been doing so for YEARS.

To check out the pics of each shop, with details…..

well first time i seen this thred but take it for what it's worth Burn Rubber is a joke they do midnight release but it dont matter if your the first inline if one of there boy's need that shoe your screwed i was in line at 10:00 for the qs barons pack first one in line come time to buy them some guyshowed up right at midnight and called in side and told them he was here and hold the shoes i was pissed because that was my sz so i would stay away becausethey could care less about the customers

^^^^I feel you on that, i am one of those guys that gets their sizes held.....we have all come to the conclusion that its not right for the customers and that for jordan releases or anything with a set release date they are not going to do that any more, they just decided to add all of our sizes to their orders so that this does not happen. Thought i should let everyone know that the problem has been addressed and corrected sorry for you missing your kicks and i will offer my services so you can track down what you need.

Puffer Red is pretty fair but they run out of Sizes really Fast. If you do go there for Jordan Releases, make sure your there Before they Open.

I paid 125+6% sales tax for both the Marshall and Skate or Die SB dunks at Launch...I guess they stopped charging MSRP. Just a fyi.

Yeah theyve been doing that on all the hyped releases for a few years but maybe not marked up by that much. I dont blame them. Im sure SB Dunks is the onlything half of us buy down there and then Nike makes them buy all the other not so popular styles, gotta make your money somewhere...

They got taken advantage of for a LOOONG time, then about the time the Tiffs dropped they wised up and started charging more. It sucked for me because Ialways cop 2 pair (they went above MSRP and then went WAAAY above on the second pair). But it has become a necessary evil of the game with the resellers outthere. Of course, I don't have to tell you this, you're on NikeTalk...and you see these CRAZY pick up posts with 40 pairs of sb's, etc.

puffer reds is straight and all the employees are really nice. but i can NEVER get info if i call up there or even go in. majority of the people up there dontreally know kicks which can get frustrating. and prices are a bit too high. but besides that its a good spot.

thats good that they did that...on certain releases buying 2 pairs is not fair to other customers....
