I don't care what you propose. I'm sure curt2121 feels the same about his beloved cardinal. But I guess that's whats good about Cal. I loved going to there as an undergrad, had the best time on campus and off, found some good people that will be friends for life, was prepared for the real world and am having a successful and prosperous career because of that education and experience.

I will remain loyal to the University for the rest of my life.

truth. i hope everyone feels that way when they graduate. dont wanna waste 4 years (or 5, 6, 7, 8 for those special students) of your life at a institution and have no bond with it.

damn...class of 1999. not trying to clown or nothing....but damn...i didnt even graduate middle school yet. what did you major in? any orgs? clubs? what you do now? if you dont mind me asking...not trying to pry...just curious to see what my alumni is up to. (im asian, so the whole "older person who went to your school" respect thing comes natural to me)


AND ONCE AGAIN, TO ALL THE CAL PEOPLE, FINALS ARE OVER BERKELEY MINI-SUMMIT?! i arranged one last time...and it went well, atleast i thought so, met the two guys who own Fresh before Fresh was even open and happy to see how they are doing.

Ehhh... I'm not gonna get too deep into the academic parts of the schools since I don't have a clue. But,

Berkeley>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Stanford/Palo Alto easy.

The vibe is better, the campus is better, the girls are better, etc. Pretty much the whole atmosphere is better.

Alright. After visiting UCLA and it not really making a difference. I'm 85% sure I'm going to be attending UC Berkeley next fall. Any last "No don't go here"s? If not, see you all next fall!

1. how much you making now?
2. how much did you make after you graduated and what was your position?
3. how long did it take for you to make what you make now and what position you got?
4. any regrets in architecture field? what would you have been if architecture sucked for you?
5. worth doing for the money?
 
Anybody here who goes to Cal an English major? I'm going to major in English but I'm not sure which school I'm going to 100%. Cal seems to be the logically place, any ideas?

^Well, depends on what other schools you got into.

Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Cornell would all probably be better for you in the long run than Cal.

What's good with the 18+ clubs? When I get there this fall I won't be 21 quite yet. Do I need to go to the city or are there good ones in/around Berkeley?

besides blake's on telegraph, there are no good 18 and up clubs in berkeley. if you wanna mix with the local scene, there are teen clubs in frisco, richmond and freemont that crack if youre not 21

I've been hitting up the Bear's Lair and Kip's, but this place has been DEAD for the past week.
