Once Again seemed much more John Legend. Less features, more soul like Niketalker said.

I don't know...I'm gonna buy Evolver and except great.

But that might change as songs continue to grow on me.
That's my order too.

Not too many songs that jump out too me like there were on Once Again. JL is much better by himself, I don't like it so much when he's with otherartists, even though all the songs featuring other artists aren't bad, I like JL by himself. I don't like the reggae songs, that's not JL to me..

This Time, Satisfaction, Take Me Away, I Love You Love, Everybody Knows, Cross the Line are all

though.

I'm not sure if any album of JL's will ever top Once Again though, the only song that isn't a classic for me is Stereo (I use the term classicloosely, I don't mean it in terms of everyone, but for me). I also think it will take a lot for JL to top Again/Another Again/Ordinary People, ain'tnothing on any of this album that comes close.

I think Once Again is one of the best RnB albums ever . This isn't anywhere near Once Again, and I'm very disappointing. Once Again was amuch more mature album. Not enough soul for me on this one. I knew it was going to be hard for him to top Once Again but he didn't even come close withthis album. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent album and I will listen to it a lot based on the fact that I think he's the best RnB singer out but Iexpected more.

Once Again shouldn't be in the discussion. It transcended even what John Legend is capable of.

Evolver is a nice laid back album. It sounds very futuristic. I'm not sure where he got the name of the album from. It's the same tired story line ofboy meets girl, boy breaks up with girl, and boy questions the finer things in life.

John Legend is my dude, but he could have came so much harder in this album. We all know it.

That's exactly what's wrong with this album in my eyes. Still good? Absolutely. But JL has unlimited potential for a CD, this doesn'tmaximize it.

Seriously, I think JL plateaued with Once Again.

This is still a solid album, but man I played that joint out.

i was thinking the album was named after the beatles album revolver? maybe comparing himself to john lennon maybe.. i dunno

Evolver is dare I say the best album this man has put out. I am shocked at it. But this is just my opinion. It will be on the iphone for awhile.

Glad I'm not the only one who feels this way.

I'll have to listen to this one with an unbiased ear, though.

I got the track breakdowns about the same, I got Evolver by 1 tho. Once Again was good...but the middle of that album was dead for me. I ain'tintentionally listening to: P.D.A., Each Day Gets Better, Slow Dance(maybe) or Maxine. Heaven, Save Room, Show Me, Where Did My Baby Go, Both Agains, andComing Home are classics tho. Evolver goes in - just not on that souful tip - I don't know how some ain't feelin this .

I have to disagree. Once Again is more than just a collection of tracks, but a story told by a love-driven, infatuated man. It's what we go through in allof our lives. Legend captures it flawlessly.

This album is not on that level. Musically, it may sound better in some parts, but there really is no direction. I still love it though.

YO!

P.D.A., EDGB, and Maxine are among my favorites on that album.

DF!!!

"Maxine" is such hot a hot song cause it sets up "Once Again" for the perfect drop.

think "Nash to Marion"

Damn it was like that¿ I don't know why I never picked Once Again up, but after what you said, I'm going out today to get it.

I'm patiently waiting for Evolver though...

That's one of the main things thats bothering me, no direction.

I'm extremely disappointing in JL but will listen to this..

That's what made Once Again so special. Each song had a significant meaning to the CD (except for Stereo, that song is trash,

).

This, I'm just kinda "eh."

Are there nice tracks? Yes of course, but it's not up to par with OA/GL.
