VCU > Marquette...?
I mean not a huge step up, but definitely a nice stepping stone for Shaka before going to a big time program if he is successful at Marquette.

Hoping Willis pans out as well even though he was ranked a bit higher.
Poythress is so frustrating to watch because he could be great, but he does not know it. Physically he is is unique. One of the few guys who has hands that just swallow the ball. He bounces with ease. But he plays like the 13 yr old that just got in with the men, second guessing himself every step he makes. Hope he spends the summer working on ball handling from the minute he wakes up till he falls asleep still dribbling. Rare physical gifts. Confidence is the only thing that separates him from All-American type production. Root for that kid harder than any other player since I started watching in the late 70's.

Marquette has great facilities, great fan support, and a very good tradition. And they will pay - a lot.

Apparently once they realized Howland was asking for the farm they realized they could get Shaka for less. Thats the crazy part

I just figured if he left it would be for a big time program. That's all. Thought the same about Stevens.
