Why do these small liberal arts colleges take these games? Is it similar to football, where the school gets a check, or do the coaches of these schools just want their team exposed to top tier talent for the experience?

I know it's an exhibition game but still

Yeah they get a check,Georgetown is legit at the NAIA level they are ranked 8th..Just looked it up,exhibition games get the team 20K so for a small school that's a pretty good chunk of change..

Allen, don't you normally do a spreadsheet before the season? You do that?

P.J. Dozier will pick a college Wednesday. I would be surprised if it didn't come down to South Carolina and Louisville based on what I heard last month.

GCU is actually d1 now

Came in 3rd in the WAC last season.
Coached by Dan Majerle...knew some kids that went to play there. Not a bad squad.

I can't take these exhibitions seriously half the time. It's just dumb...it's like a College All Star team playing a high school team with one or two All State type players.

Less than hour before this alumni ticket presale for Duke at Cuse on Valentines day starts :pimp:

Edit: This is what was available to alumni, before the general public tickets go on sale tomorrow :x

1000

Just as bad as last year :smh:

I saw on twitter that Isaiah Briscoe and Skal Labissiere will both announce their college choices on ESPNU this Thursday

Might as well stay at the crib dog. Damn.

 just seems like another Mudiay situation?

UK is the only school both these dudes are conisdering, right?

Yeah. Skal is either UK or Memphis. Briscoe is either UK or SJU. Both appear to be UK right now unless Briscoe is sentimental.

ESPN radio in Memphis is reporting that Skal hasn't had any contact with Memphis in over a month and that their sources tell them that he is picking UK,Evan Daniels tweeted that he has a "very good source" that also says UK....Way more excited about Briscoe though

Y'all won't care about this now, but when Harvard upsets your favorite squad again in March it will be because recruits like Corey Johnson.

Late bloomer, has some RJ Hunter potential to his game, not a perfct comparison, but dead eye shooter with a lighting quick release and legit size.
