The College Basketball Post

B10 is loaded. I just don't know how IU will defend well enough.

Interested to see how Iowa does after that terrible end of the season. Need Uthoff to step up, but their frontcourt is damn good. Just not sure how they will do against the the Ultra-Athletic guys.

^ His dad is friends with an LSU assistant coach . I think Erick Mussleman will help Johnny Jones , they just need a couple more players.

I have a real issue with all these kids lining up to visit UNLV :smh:

Just read that,do not want Skal at UK,pretty sure it's a done deal though..No way he is declared eligible...

If anyone can get him eligible, then it's Cal and UK. He got Eric Bledsoe eligible, and that was apparently the worst transcript some analysts/coaches had ever seen.

Handler sent the other Haitian packing when he found out he wasn't gonna be a prospect :smh:

Then when a memphis family was gonna adopt him the handler wouldn't let them smh

Grade A scumbag

Coolness : What's the word on KeVaughn Allen not signing with UF yet ? I know Arkansas and Memphis still want him pretty bad.

Well delaying is never a good sign. So far Dickerson and Hayes are good to go. Florida will put out an official release on all the signings tomorrow. All the stuff I've read ranges from "we're fine" to there being concerns over our scholly numbers.  Sorkoram is right about Memphis and Arky though.  I'm thinking it'll be alright, he's the only guard in the class and scholarships always seem to work themselves out. One call from Billy tonight to smooth things over and we're straight for tomorrow.

I'm more concerned about William and Mary this Friday. Didn't even know they were picked to win the CAA.

It'll hurt if Kevaughn doesn't sign with UF tomorrow. That would leave Brandone Francis as the lone freshman two guard for next season. Not buying the the scholarship crunch because I doubt Dillion Graham will be on the roster next season if he doesn't contribute this season.

Monk and Allen must be cool as of recent because I remember reading somewhere that those two wasn't at all friendly with each other. Think that's why Allen played with Team Penny this summer instead of the Arkansas Wings Elite. They both ran with the Wings 16U the summer before though.

UNLV got some Baltimore dudes so they will shine. Daquan Cook and Dwayne Morgan.

Dwayne Morgan is Rudy Gay/Reggie Lewis like.

Going to be amusing if Thomas gets cleared and Kruger has a Top 10-15 team and UNLV stinks.

I like kaleb joseph game so far.

Chris Mcculugh kid should beast
Wanted to see Joseph and Ennis in the same back-court for Syracuse. Kaleb has better offense and is more aggressive looking for his own shot. Ennis was a better facilitator and creator as a pass-first PG.

That piece of garbage Buzz Williams left Wojo with no size . Marquette should struggle to rebound all season.
Why is Buzz "garbage"?

I'm not buying the recent 'Indiana is underrated' headlines.

Many are predicting a huge season out of Sam Dekker with some of the physical progression he made. He's bulked up considerably and it's reportedly helped almost every aspect of his game due to his style of play.

Interested in Maryland's first year in the Big Ten.

Minnesota is a strange team if you haven't really been up on them yet this year. A lot of players that seem to be odd fits together. Canadian Mo Walker is incredibly skilled but a much better defensive center, Elliot Eliason, will start ahead of him. Eliason has been a helpful big since his freshman season but he's just who he is, and that's just fine really. I just wish they could play together because the 4-spot is much more of a question mark. Not a Joey King fan, and I have a lot of hope for Josh Martin but he's likely not ready this year.

Then, they have Nate Mason who many have said would've been a recruit that garnered the likes of Izzo, Self, etc. had he been three inches taller. Carlos Morris will start at SG and has been the biggest positive throughout the scrimmages and lone exhibition game.

Rick Pitino's Louisville Cardinals vs. Rich Pitino's Minnesota Gophers, Friday, 6:30p CT in Puerto Rico. :pimp:
Dekker is going to make a Stauskas-like jump.

Not all "breakout." But a few you might not know that will do well.

•Deonte Burton - Marquette
•Mike Young - Pitt
•Sheldon McCellan - Miami
•Melo Trimble - Maryland
•Aaron Thomas - Wake
•Monte Morris - Iowa State
•Winston Shepard - SDSU
•Shavon Shields - Nebraska
•Cullen Neal - New Mexico
•Jabari Bird - Cal
•Justin Anderson - UVA
•Jared Uthoff - Iowa

Missing a lot, and AI would know more small school guys than me.

That's my guy. Coached him in High School. He should have a decent year...dropped some weight and worked on the jumper over the summer.
