Very sloppy comparison. Just cause their big, light skinned and block shots lol.

If anything WCS reminds me of Brandon wright

Why because Brandon wright is big light skinned and blocks shot?

Brandon Wright is a poor defender that would be his floor imo.

Maybe it's the fact that he's played next to Noel, Randle and Towns, but WCS doesn't strike me as a high level rebounder like Jordan or Gobert. He should have similar effect protecting the rim though.

What's the difference between Jordan's rebounding at A&M compared to WCS'?

Did anyone foresee Jordan becoming this dominant on the boards in the pros?

Not questioning you, P, because I really don't know.
As a freshman, Jordan was pretty dominant on the boards. Sported a healthy rebound rate and averaged nearly 12 rebounds per 40 minutes.

WCS? Highest rebound rate he's had was just over 15% (this season) and 10.5 rebounds per 40 (freshman season). But maybe sharing the front court with Noel, Randle, Towns, etc. has limited his rebounding numbers. Or not...

I think you absolutely have to take who WCS plays with into consideration. Not taking anything away from Jordan, but him and WCS are in two completely different sitautions.

Considering how versatile he is defensively and who he's been playing with, I'm not that worried about the rebounding.

*good dig, btw, on finding Jordan's advanced stats from A&M

I don't know what happened to Verne Lundquist... I used to like him, but all he seems to do these days is say "Oh my" or "Oh WOW!" on such small plays.  It must be his age catching up to him.

Damn, Octavius Ellis' mother was killed by her husband? Now, I see why son acts so irrational. Imagine trying to overcome those circumstances. Him playing D1 ball and going to school is a miracle in itself.

Nonetheless, this game is over. I actually thought Cincinnati may have had a shot watching the 1st half. Kentucky won't allow it.

This Cincinnati team will be very good next year. Everyone coming back, plus Cronin will be back and hopefully a 5th year transfer who can shoot it. They were super inexperienced and many people didn't even see them as a tourney team with Mick coaching, let alone with him out.

No lie, about 30mins ago...I mentioned to my brother that Ellis doesn't seem all the way right upstairs. My brother then told me that Ellis saw his mother murdered right in front of him as a child. I hit the Weebay gif.

Plays with a lot of passion. Hope the best for him.
