Kentucky gets a 4 seed in the toughest bracket. A

This is bull man ... Coach Cal has a point. This was picked before any ganes today AND what he asks the SEC commish needs to be asked to all the conferences that played today its already determined.

If theyre gonna have games on Sunday then selections shouldnt be made/revealed til later that night OR better yet on Monday
No, it's looking at the complete body of work.

v. RPI Top 50
A&M...5-0
UK...2-2

v. RPI Top 100
Both teams 14-6

Road W-L
A&M...5-5
UK...4-7

UK's loss against Auburn doesn't help much either.

Get off your high horse thinking the committee has it out for your favorite team.

Man, **** Kansas and I bet y'all won't go further than UK  ... I got $20 on it PayPal ready :nerd:

You can miss me with these arbitrary "top 50" and "top 100" numbers. Why is 50 the cut off point? Arbitrary. If you say "top 64", UKs numbers improve to 6-3. If you go to top 75, UKs numbers go to 8-3... My point is all those numbers are ARBITRARY, and using a flawed RPI system in the first place.

But whatever, its not really specifically A&Ms seed I have a problem with. Literally everybody agrees that we were underseeded (AGAIN), so if that puts me on a "high horse" then there's a lotta people on it with me. The fact that we are a 4 seed is ridiculous, period.

They also put us in a brutal region despite underseeding us, and the reason is to create these big-TV-ratings matchups against Indiana and UNC. If u can't see by now that there's an agenda used in this seeding process, you ain't paying attention.

I'm not going to post the insider article because Meth warned me but I will tell you what Peter Keatings analytic model has on the most likely upsets. I'll put the reason in brackets.

1. Notre Dame (6) vs. Michigan (11) 56.5 percent (Michigan shoots 3's)

2. Arizona (6) vs. Vanderbilt (11) 47.7 percent (Vanderbilt under seeded)

3. West Virginia (3) vs. Stephen F. Austin (14) 44.4 percent (SFA forces turnovers and shoots 3's)

4. Arizona (6) vs. Wichita State (11) 42.4 percent (Witchita underseeded)

5. California (4) vs. Hawaii (13) 36.4 percent (Cal turnover prone, Hawaii force turnovers)

6. Seton Hall vs. Gonzaga (11) 32.6 percent (Seton Hall plays slow)

7. Notre Dame (6) vs. Tulsa (11) 29.7 percent (Notre dames defense is garbage)

8. Texas (6) vs. Northern Iowa (11) 25.8 percent (Iowa plays slow, and doesn't turn it over)

9. Iowa State (4) vs. Iona (13) 25.5 percent (Iona shoots 3's ISU 3 point defense is bad)

10. Baylor (5) vs. Yale (12) 20.2 percent (Yale plays slow)

I really like the Hawaii Cal matchup, and I'm warming up to ISU and matchup. :nerd:

last time their model actually favored an underdog I think it was Umass and Tennessee and Tensenssee smoked Umas and covered. So i might lay a pretty penny on Michigan-Note Dame if it happens.

More reason for why Oregon deserved a #1 seed:

Reg. season title: YES
Conf. Tourney title: YES
RPI: 2
SOS: 2
Wins vs Top 50: 12

Again, nothing against any of the other teams. MSU is deserving of a #1 seed.

QFT. If you saw this resume w/o seeing it belongs to UO most people would def say 1 seed. Doubters don't believe in Oregon because it's Oregon AND they play in the Pac-12.

East coast bias is to real. Oregon is real solid along with the PAC 12 as a whole this year

Just can't see UK doing it this year unless,Skal,Lee,and Poy can step it up,inside game has been a weakness for us all year....Hopefully I'm wrong

I may switch Oklahoma, I may switch out SH for Mich. St. Deliberating several possibilities.

I see either Vandy or Wichita St doing damage and getting to the Elite 8. Either of those teams could beat Nova. I even feel strange picking Nova to go the the Sweet 16.

Lol the committee ****** up so bad. They have providence playing at 9pm when arizona vs vandy/wichita st is playing IN providence at 9pm

Everyone i know w tickets is pissed. Im beyond pissed, wont even be going now

Not really liking the match up against Chattanooga. Look like they're a team full of cornbread country dudes. We struggle with big, physical, teams. Hopefully we can knock down the 3 ball and get them in foul trouble.
