You gotta be kidding me with the whole "you're too good for that shot" BS :smh:

Dude pulled up from half-court and hit a lucky shot as time expired on the SHOT CLOCK. That's all it was. If he missed it, no one would've even cared.

That's what I'm saying! Lmao dudes acting like he windmill dunked it with nobody around him up 20

I mean if he would have moved on after he hit that deep shot it wouldn't have been as bad. But he was celebrating it like he hit the go ahead bucket to win the game lol

This.

Also, I don't see how another coach has any room to lecture a player on an opposing team like that. I don't have any issue with Grayson not hugging dude, but I certainly don't think it's Coach K's place to do what he did.

I find the Duke was painfully thin narrative being espoused by some to be odd...McD's AA left and right, two elite isolation scorers, decent bigs. Not saying they should have been a Juggernaut but I don't get the thin bench angle especially compared to a lot of other teams in the country.

Dudes have been celebrating at the end of games all tournament
Duke and it's fanbase just wants an excuse for getting mad after getting beat by a school with barely any history

Yeah it's pretty laughable. Teams would kill to get that kind of talent.

Dillon Brooks is the kind of dude you hate playing against, loud, aggressive, can get emotional.

So im not surprised he's rubbing people the wrong way.

If Jordan Bell could shoot 3's than yeah he's certainly be a prospect, but he can't so he doesn't really have a place in the league.

Miss me with that respect **** man. Seriously. It wasn't that serious for him to talk to him that long and even after Brooks says sorry he's still talking. He was just mad they got blown out like that.

ALL THIS. Coach K is undoubtedly one of the greatest coaches ever but he was out of line to say anything to the kid. As if Coach K didn't coach two of the greatest on-court a-holes of all-time in JJ Redick and Laetner. Not too mention countless other cocky floor slapping players and Mr. Grayson "I can trip people and not get suspended" Allen this year. We ever hear of Coach K telling them they were bettter than that or see their behavior change?

If I was Oregon's coach I probably would have told him you coach your players and I'll coach mine.

Completely disagree. Oregon killed Duke on the boards, having their best big in Amile would have helped big time and probably kept Derryck off the floor.

A 17 year old who was clearly rattled, Matt Jones who has been useless for the last month, a team that relied so much on isolation and guys creating their shots. No post presence after Amile went out and having Chase play 15 mins a night while getting pushed around inside.

Team was young, flawed. We all knew the ceiling for this team was elite 8 and knew that this was just a transition year. Team never quit once this year which i can't say about certain teams of ours in years past. These guys had heart

if i am brooks, who cares what coach k has to say
should've hit him with the "ol, really?" when K had the nerve to say that nonsense
you got a problem, tell that to altman and him and his staff would handle it

duke had the hype of being a top 5 team and possibly be repeating but now their ceiling was the elite 8?

I'll give you guys the soft interior D since jefferson went down with injury. But there was no reason for jeter and obi to be under utilized how they were this season. top recruit and mcdonalds AA riding the bench getting no significant burn. Obi was supposed to give solid help inside as well.

Number 1 recruiting class coming into this season with solid role players.

They underachieved.
