Ghostface Killah or NaS

C'mon Rav, lets not go there G I don't like what this has the ability to turn into, as I will be forced to participate seeing as it is difficult toknow someone is attempting to discredit my fav artist. Thus I will be forced to attempt to prove otherwise, leading toward the decrediting of another one of myfavorite artist.

So from one fan of both to another, lets not play this game with these two

I feel you...

But Starks IS that dude. Just have to make sure that is clear to everyone in this thread acting like this is an easy decision. I guess I wouldn't miss Escothat much cause I'm a big AZ fan. But if there were no GFK...well that's not a reality I want to be apart of lol.

If Nas ever released a self-help audio book, he'd have a better shot at my vote.

Ghost.

Nah this is far from an easy decision and honestly had it been anybody else with the exception of Pac and maybe Jay on some days I'd say Tony easily.

But we're talking about men who, !#@* what you heard, have top 5 quality catalogs.

But when it comes to Nas, I feel that he get an unfair stigma attatched due to what most sack chasers never thought of before "takeover". I meanseriously look on page 2 of the forum there a post that claims he only has two good lps. The audacity of those statements are appauling and what turns me offto discussing these type of topics. I'd gladly put Illmatic, IWW, Stillmatic, and Lost Tapes against the best 4 cd's from ANY rapper w/o hesitation.

I mean we're talking about an artist who has grades consisting of 3 A+ lps 1 A Lp, 3 B+ lps, 1 B lp (which was a double) and a C- lp (although I feel itgets unwarranted criticism due to the singles but I can see the points people make)

I honestly wouldn't be as huge a fan of hiphop as I am now if it wasn't for Nas so I couldn't fathom a hiphop world minus Mr. Jones.

^It's like one of my dudes was saying to me this weekend.

"I just can't relate to Nas. He wants to be this hip hop messiah, better than everyone Nazareth Savage and all that and the proof just isn't inthe pudding. [We were listening to Jay] I mean I can relate to Jay, and he's a goddamn billionaire. That's a problem."

nas without a second thought...

ghost has some good stuff in his catalog... but to me nas is on a whole other level... some of the time ghost says stuff, i have no idea what he is eventalking about. i have to go to the wu tang manual on him... still love his energy though.

Pretty Ton' Easily I also agree with everyone who talked about ghost having a better catalogue. He has like 5 albums that I LOVE. Nas has one.

Such a difficult choice. Easily my two favorite emcees of all time. Great storytellers, albums.
