thanks grup finally some1 who knows what they are talking about...i havent owned a system besides the ps3 in years that wasnt modded lol and thats why i gotrid of the ps3.

That's one of the reasons why I don't like the PS3 so much. It's a pain, and you ALWAYS have to update. Sometimes the updates mess the system up.

harlemtothebronx-- no worries with that either because the modder can fix your rrod
alll rrod is the heatsink coming up and touching the motherboard because microsoft being cheap did not put any thing hold it down.. he opens it up screws itdown slightly and its actyually better then it was new. plus you get it back in a day or two instead of weeks like microsoft well worth 20 or 30 bucks peepscharge.

its all worth it. I got my xbox 1 modded a weeks after I got it (before). I used to rent games @ blockbuster in the morning and claim it didnt work in theafternoon...so I'd get another game to burn

you can do the same to the ps3 its just more pricey since the blue ray disks are like 10 bucks a pop.

Basically, you have to reflash the x-box. I forgot the exact software, but I'm pretty sure you can find it online. I've had no problemswith my modded x-box. I go online and everything, you just gotta make sure the game is patched.
