Made the trade for the Macbook Air for my 2011 15". I have a newer mac that has handoff capabilities and no more ticking time bomb :smokin come up IMO. The macbook air has a dent but so did my macbook pro.

I will take the more updated features, plus weight and battery life trade off.

thinking about selling my macbook air 2014 and getting the new one with retina. don't really need a macbook pro but i heard the weight between the two is negligible. like the diff between ipad air and ipad. lol 
 
Is the 11 inch screen really that much of a hindrance? I've never used an 11 inch screen before, smallest I've ever gone is 13.

The air seems like the perfect device. Like I don't know if I would need to go any smaller haha. Though that new macbook is nice.

antidope antidope not sure but I have the 13-in and have no problems. Don't think the 11-in would be that bad.

Great deal IMO. out of every laptop I've owned, my favorite is the MBA 13. Ive had the pro in both 15 and 13 with the 15 being fully loaded. Have the surface pro 3, and had numerous dell XPS and lenovo think pads. Prefer the 13 MBA

I wouldn't buy a third party charger because Apple has never licensed out the Magsafe tech for anyone else to do it, so I'd be very wary of someone selling a charger they claim works. If you're a student or work for any half decent sized company, look into logging in the education store or via whatever site your job uses to get web benefits, it won't save too much, but it'll be cheaper than paying full price.

Just buy it. Over 1700 sales from that seller. I bought a charger off Craigslist for 40 that still works
 
This macbook is pretty fire outside of the weak spacebar missing its touches periodically. I see a thread regarding the issue on apple's forum. anybody have this issue before? What would be my best course of action, replace it at best buy or take it into the apple store?
 
Anyone here can give me any input on that new 2015 macbook pro with the 2.9 processor and the 500+ hard drive?


Someone is selling one to me for 1500 with a $100 case and invisible.

Is that too much laptop? Having second thoughts of spending that dough
