I know this might be a dumb ? but does anyone know what kind of cables I would need to connect my Macbook to a TV so I can watch movies?

you need a Mini DVI-to-DVI cable to connect your computer to the cable, and a DVI-to-(HDMI,DVI,VGA) cable to go from the cable to the TV.

Use the install discs that came with your computer., and do a custom install to install just that program.

Anyone know how much I can sell my previous generation 2.4 ghz white macbook? I got it like 2-3 months ago, with the applecare warranty, a macbook case, and aprinter. I'm seeing a few on Craigslist for around $1,300 but I'm not sure if they're selling or not.

hey i have a old ibook g4 that i am thinking about bringing back to life... i plan to throw in a gig memory stick and run it with the 1.2 ghz processor.. youthink it will tiger and a few apps efficiently?

My macbook (has 2gb memory) gets really slow when i use photoshop, is this normal? I know my pc had less than a gig of memory and it ran photoshop smoothly

It gets like that sometimes with my new macbook. as long as the program isn't throwing you out due to the speed, you should be fine.
The new memory is expensive right now. I found 4 gb for 139.99 for the new macbook the other day. When it comes down some more, I will make the upgrade.

my mac is currently in the shop for the 3rd time because of its optical drive. they said if it messes up again they're replacing it for a new one =/
