i saw these in a magazine at +$%#'s sporting goods. they are terrible. the wades get worse every year...
 
Duane Lawrence, the designer of all the Wades, is now at Nike.

So if you hope DW gets a "real shoe" by going to Nike, the same designer of all his Converse shoes now works for the swoosh.
 
Yeah, I saw that. I thought the Wade 3 was bad...

I loved the first Wade. Looked great and played like a dream - at least on indoor courts. Didn't even bother with the Wade 2.

Really disappointing, only because I feel like they could have done so much more for a player of his caliber. I don't want to see him with Nike, we needsome diversity and I like seeing big name players with smaller brands.
 
i actually like the design.
not that colorway though.
maybe a blk/white colorway with the right blocking?

not as atrocious as i first thought they would be, bust still pretty horrible. i can see why D wants out of the stars...

Weighing in as the lightest WADE signature shoe to date at 14 ounces, the WADE 4 also provides advanced support andbreathability. It features new Suspend Technology in a cushioned shelf that rests over the hollowed heel on top of a layer of foam. Upon impact, the shelfdisplaces to create a desirable "trampoline" effect that helps to minimize impact forces. The WADE 4 is a truly breathable shoe, with openventilation on the lateral and medial sides of the shoe for maximum airflow. The thin, inner booty sock has a fit system, which promotes lock down, whilecushioning the ankle and allowing flexibility.
