if you consider this album WEAK.....

if the songs that were included on "The Leak" release were on that album would that change your opinion?

In my opinion those songs make this album very good.

if alot of the songs that leaked never leaked he would've had a basically classic album

i heard on the radio this morn that he is re-releasing it BUT with ALL new tracks...doesnt make sense to me

Universal said they can't confirm or deny that so it could've been Weezy just talkin' throwed as usual. I mean he say it ain't theCarter 4 but he droppin' the Carter 3 with all new tracks lol. I'm sure Carter 3 will be re-released but probably with about 4 or 5 new songs. Or maybehe remixes the album.
c3 isnt bad at all btw.


Only reason cats say its garbage is due to high expectations that no one living on this earth could exceed and the fact that cats just dislike Wayne. I rockwith the album. I thought Wayne showed some growth from Carter 2 to Carter 3. I don't play the album much anymore but I wouldn't call it trash by nomeans.

C3 sucked and I been rockin wit due since the jump but it just seemed like he was tryin to hard to be deep he tried to get away from the murder talk on thisone which I commend but that only left him to talk about a whole bunch of nothin

C3 would have been a good debut album but not for a 6 album vet its his second worse IMO
 
Was waiting for this cd for the past 2years and haven't played any song on there more than 40times...Bury it....sorry wayne came out same day as SeeingSounds and that's my album of the year...

Probably not .. And those mix tapes were way harder than c3

Droppin mixtapes isnt a excuse for a weak album. He dropped the Suffix before C2 and it was still a beast.

I think he should have named something other than "Carter", and he would have been better off. Or maybe my expectations were too high.
 
Carter 2 is Way Better Than Carter 3. Carter 3 Still Had Some Leak Tracks On It. This Album Just Wasn't Hot To Me. The Best Song Is Mr Carter With Hova.It's A Shame That His Best Song Is Feature
 
Tie My Hands is the only good song on this album. (Yes, I'm aware of how old it is)

The Carter 3 Sessions was better than the album was.

Between The Carter 3 Sessions, Carter Files and the actual Carter III a decent CD could've been made.
 
When Wayne was at his peak and could be taken seriously, he could have had an almost classic, he still has a good LP though. It could have dropped earlier, butI don't think it would have sold as much.

Etc.. were added and some songs were taking off, the album would have been a classic.

But if those songs didn't leak he wouldn't have sold as much...
 
Carter III is the album of the year when its all said and done. Its complete. It has replay value. There hasn't been an album better than it within thecalender year.
