Official The Shield Final Season thread FX 10 ET: 11/25 SERIES FINALE TONIGHT!!! (90 minute episode)

Damn!!
I cant believe this is the end. Vic is no better than Shane for letting Ron take the fall.
I still remember like it was yesterday when Vic was taking pedophiles/gang leaders face's to hot stoves.
Wow 7 years have gone by so fast.

Vic ain't never gave a ##!% about anybody. Letting ronnie take the fall was straight grimey.

I think Mara and Shane will both go to jail and their kids will end up in foster care. I still have a feeling Vic my die in the season finale.

mara murking 2 people like itsnothing! Damn i hope she dies by the end of the series.

I couldn't believe Vic did that. I was like

. Eventhe lady from ICE (she is bad
pimp.gif
) was like he's a sick and twistedhuman being. Ronnie is going to get life in prison or kill himself. None of that would have happened had Corrine not been an idiot during the stakeout. She isa character that I genuinely hate. I was
roll.gif
when Claudette flipped onDutch. She is tight that she has nothing on Vic. Aceveda like an idiot backed out of the operation because he wanted more control over the Pezuela situation. Ithink Mara will probably die from her injury. Shane will go to prison and their children will get placed in foster care like you alluded to. As far as Dutchgoes I have no idea what is going to happen to him. I hope it's a great 90 minutes next week.

wow - crazy last night-

Vic has to have a plan...i know thats the mother of his kids so he his judgment was cloudy BUT he has to have an out for ronnie-
also why would he tell the FULL truth...i mean his main concern was that Shane would get caught and flip on them so he tried to cover himself...cool- but saywith the 2time joint he coulda said Shane shot Terry...but he helped cover it up...etc etc..so he doesn't look like a complete monster

worst case it would be shanes words against his - he's is seen as telling the truth to get his immunity deal meanwhile shane is seen as just trying towiggle himself out of the hole he dug

i cant call it....
laugh.gif
at shane and mara tho...i cant stand either of themand this Bonnie and clyde ride they on is about to be overr...thought

1.5 hours next week

Predictions for next week?

I can't call it man... but you just have to know everyone's story is going to be resolved somehow... like everyone is going to get some significantscreentime.

I do think that at least 2 of the main characters are going to take that dirt nap though.

*didn't read any of the replys cause i missed this weeks show*

*i also made an official thread a while back before the season kicked off...no one liked it haha*

*shield ftw!*

*sons of anarchy is pretty

I want to say Vic will be killed, but he has gotten away with everything so far. Nothing is going to turn over a full immunityfrom the feds unless the president gets involved and this ain't no 24. Vic will walk off as a free man

No way Vic lets Ronnie take the fall, he set it up so Ronnie has to be around to set up the bust, theres no way he doesn't warn him. I'm made Vic madethe deal to save his wife when she is trying to set him up.

Seriously, yea I've hated her from way back, she is the main cause of the breakdown and downward spiral of the strike team in my opinion.

The confession IMO was one of the best moments of the series. When he admitted he killed Terry Crowley her face went from

. By the end of it shewas

with Vic. That "I have done worse" quote was classic.

My predictions:
-Ronnie kills himself.
-Dutch tries to take down the kid but is shot and wounded.
-Vic and ICE close the Pezuela deal.
-Mara dies from her injury.

I didn't know there were so many Shield heads here.

I see Shane dieing for sure. Those drugs he got hooked on are gonna be his downfall. Ronnie might get hit too, but I dont see the series endingwith him dead. Hard to call with how unpredictable this shows been.
EDIT: Hopefully they end the series so there can be a movie or something. I'm not ready to see the Shield end

I see it like he told the truth to clear his conscience and stop lying all the time. The way he struggled to even start talking seemed like he was scared toface the truth after all the time that had passed. Then he just felt like he could tell the truth to everything he and the strike team had done withoutrepercussions from the law. Vic obviously doesn't care what ICE thinks of him as a person, so long as he gets a job, so thats why he didn't lie aboutShane.

IMO

Ronnie commits suicide? No way imo, but I guess it seems a lot of people have this opinion I don't know why.
And Vic confession was wow, and he starts off straight up with killing Terry, I was wondering when they were setting up for the interview how much he wouldtell and what specifics, and then he started off right off with the worse.

Ronnie seems mentally unstable, that's why I threw it out there. He confessed to the murder because that was the worst charge and in CA he could be placedon death row for killing a cop. He was smart to get that out of the way. I liked how he made sure he got everything off of his chest before they go to do thebust

. Vic is a G.

Can't wait to see Shane's face when he finds out Vic has immunity.

Exactly how I feel. When she found out about the money and giving some to her mom it all went downhill from there. When she hit Tavon that was thetipping point.

Ya, once he said that I was sure he would say everything, I just wasn't sure how it was gonna work, don't know how immunity works exactly, causeI've heard sometimes its only up to a certain extent, and would exclude things like murder one, but I guess he got 100% full immunity. I don't reallysee Ronnie as being really mentally unstable, Lem on the other hand when he was around I did, and I could see Shane going out with suicide before Ronnie, Shanebeing extremely more and more unstable each episode. Anyways thats just my opinion, but only way I see Ronnie offing himself is if he pops Vic and Shane first.

After thinking for a minute, I think Ronnie is gonna get Shane. The whole season he's been set on killing Shane, so I'm predicting rightnow Ronnie drops Shane, then gets caught for THAT and get sent to prison, not for the stuff Vic said.

Ronnie is gonna kill somebody. He been looking like a killer since ep 1 of this season.

Vic

Me and my wife have gone over sooooo many scenarios on how this will end and we still don't have a clue. I do know its gonna be thick.

Mara dying would be beautiful. Shane with a coke habit...

Corrine....dumb B
smh.gif

The writers have done a great job in making me dislike Claudette when she's really the only one with clean hands. Julian too. Ol' supercop !@#...

Dutch is a herb.

Billings is funny as hell.

Damn I can't wait...

The way he struggled to even start talking seemed like he was scared to face the truth after all the time that had passed. idk - i mean i see what your saying but he was doing it to basically cover his tracks and look out for himself and his people...which is thereason behind everything he has done so far-

the thing is ICE has more incentive to try and burn him now...she already stated if anything messes up with the bust/ronnie then his deal is done for...youknow claudette is going to be tryign to throw a wrench in the plans also-

i mean they knew he wasnt clean but he coulda made it seem like shane was the worst one and he was covering up and getting into alot of the nonsense to protecthis team...then when shane comes out with his story it would seem like he was just placing the blame and Vic would be good with ICE -

i mean now they are about to protect someone who admitted to killing a team member/detective in cold blood, robbed a money ring, provided protection to drugdealers etc etc etc - that just isnt gonna work -

Been watching since season 1, didn't know there were any Shield heads here.

I'm really excited/sad for tonight, I don't want to see the show go.

Some good predictions up in here, I don't think I've seen anyone mention the possibility of the bust falling through, which means Vic's immunity isout the window. For some reason I have a bad feeling about that happening.

Not sure what else is going to go down. I think that kid is going to kill his mom, and I hope big Ron drops Shane.

I remember back in the first few seasons telling all my friends that Ronnie was going to play a huge part in the show someday but I all I got was the
indifferent.gif

Anyways, should be an intense episode.

This needs to stay on page 1 all day.

I really want to see Claudette get smoked. I'm so sick of her +***.

Also really interested to see what goes down with Acaveda. That guy is in way to deep.

i can't miss this!

the last 5 seasons have been epic!

last season there was supposed to be a 2 hour season finale but it got canned good to see they worked out the problems and send this show out with a 90 minutefinale

eek.gif
that would be insane if they bring Big Ron back for the finale. My jaw would drop if the bust fails. If it does someone is definitely going to get bodied.

Too bad the rest of NT doesn't know about this show. One of the best shows of the decade.

I'm on my way back to NYC right now and I think I'm going to miss the first half hour. Will FX replay it?
