Andre on american gangster?? wow.

im a BIG dre fan. and i dont think remembering the mac as a criminal is doing him any justice or showing respect. i think thats a little messed up how the onlyway BET's gonna recognize Mac Dre is as an "American Gangster". i mean yea, dre did do some s*** in his life but his career as an artist is whatdefined him most.

If you are really being serious, then yes. He was murdered in Kansas City in 05.

Mac Dre sucked.
Nice contribution. Feel bad for you buddy.

Geez. I dont know why I was under the impression that he was alive. I hear his name thrown around from timeto time but I never followed his music at all. RIP

You should check out his music with a open mind. He was a great artist.

yeah they got dj vlad to do the documentary on mac dre and the romper room gang

the thing that really got me-was that when doing the promo for his episode

vlad said he had been turned on to his music like a year ago, and the guy is supposed to be one of the bay area's most reputated djs

that made him lose a lot of credibility with me, well that and getting smacked up by rick ross

This episode is not on Mac Dre, Its about the gang he used to be in, I'm forgetting the name. He's going to be apart of it, but not the main focus

what he do?

He was a part of a gang from Vallejo called the "Romper Room Gang" who robbed banks throughout Northen Cali. I remember while he was incarcerated,he was the first rapper ever to record an entire album from prison over the phone.
