Cutting Hi-Tops

i read black and pink and my stomach turned a bit thinkin this might be the case... don't cut these!

^ I don't understand the arguments here at all. Let me try and get it straight...

side 1 wants him to cut the shoes because they think it's funny a dude would modify his shoes, which are expensive

side 2 wants him to not cut the shoes because the shoes are expensive

....did I get it? Is this what Nike Talk has come to, everyone is in a rush to put some stupid smiley face by their lame joke about the guy not knowinghe's got expensive shoes?

It looks to me like the joke is on everyone else. The fact that ya'll are so cash obsessed that you can't even bear to let someone else wear theirshoes the way they want to is borderline pathetic. If he wants to mod then, he wants to mod them. When did he ask you for tips about spending money? Man, Iknow most people on here are the conspicuous consumers (brief explanation - people without money spend lots of cash and effort to try and appear rich, so youget the morons with gucci shoes working $7 an hour jobs, and kids who keep the stickers on their hats like anyone's impressed with a new era) type, butjust because ya'll're broke, doesn't mean you have to get bent out of shape when someone treats their property like a PAIR OF SHOES, not somereligious artifact like some collectors do.

Anyone telling this man to cut these shoes is a damn fool. If you think that these can be transformed into low tops, you have the intelligence of a fly.

Poster, do NOT cut these shoes. They will not turn out nice in any way, and you'll have a $400+ pile of leather and fabric.

Want to see what you have? search for your Unkles on flightclub

ROFL....idk if this is a joke, but....

you should probably sell those shoes (depending on the condition, even used u'll get like 250-400 im guessing, maybe more) and get a different pair of sblows....

there are a ton of ppl who would really love to get those sneakers, but if u like that THAT much (as in...$400 worth), then i guess--actually, i wouldnt evenreccomend getting them cut at a shoe repair place, because they will not look nice...

wooooosaaaaaahhh

This is a really moronic idea. For one, the back of the shoe is different from the lows and the swoosh is at a different angle. I'm guessing you would alsohave trouble with the tongue. The second reason is what everybody else mentioned. Highs are better than lows anyway, so don't be a loser.
